The top of the Mt. Khang Karpo (6,646m) is the best spot to enjoy the view of different 8000m peaks (Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu & Manaslu) at once. It is one of the two peaks to do so along with Mt. Langdang. The 360 full views from the summit is one of the rarest yet beautiful experiences you can have.

We are very proud to say that a team of 8 climbers organized and led by Mr. Phurba Tenjing Sherpa, MD of Dreamers Destination Treks and Expedition Pvt. Ltd. along with two other fellow climbers were the first to summit this peak via North West ridge in 2016 after the official opening of climbing permit for Khang Karpo in 2014 by Nepal Government.

Mt. Khang Karpo is situated at Ripimo Glacier in Rolwaling Valley. Rolwaling valley, a part of Gaurishankar Conservation Area in Dolakha District, is one of the most beautiful, yet to be explored destination for trekking, skiing, ice climbing, rock climbing, paragliding and peak climbing. Also, an ancient monastery built on the foundation of ancient stories of Guru Rinpoche and Milarepa attracts pilgrims for meditation trekking. Besides, being a home of snow leopard, it is one of the best research spots to study the varieties of flora and fauna in monsoon season. It is here that the notorious and celebrated Yeti is assumed to have his home.
