The entire trek encircles the famous Mt. Annapurna, so it is called the Annapurna circuit. This trek start through green valley Bhesishar all the way to Manang and goes through Thorang-La Pass-5416m.This pass connects two valleys of Manang and Kaligandaki River gorge which is also the deepest gorge in the world. Beautiful natural views, amazing landscapes, cultural diversity make this route the most famous in the world. It shows diversity in the culture, nature, and traditional values of Nepal.
It is one of the most popular and classical treks in Nepal. The trekking trail was opened in 1977 A.D and now it has been considered one of the tenth best trekking trails all over the world. The trek starts and ends in the lush, green foothills of the Mt Annapurna range. Yet north of the Great Himalaya divide the stark landscape of the Tibetan Plateau where the culture becomes predominantly Buddhist. We ascend the Marsyandi Valley before heading to the wild, windswept 5416m Thorong La (pass) and around the Annapurna massif. We then head back down the great Kali Gandaki Valley across Muktinath and Jomsom (the deepest gorge on earth with Annapurna and Dhaulagiri towering some 7,000 m (above) and return to Pokhara where we complete our trek. You will trek through different small villages like Khudi, Bhulbule, Ngadi, Lampata, Bahundanda, Jagat, Khorte, Dharapani and more.
The trail can be further improvised by adding Tilicho Lake to Itinerary. Tilicho Lake is the lake situated at the highest altitude in the whole world. This lake is getting more famous day after day because of its incredible scenery.sc
