Summit bonuses and tipping are the customary ways of expressing gratitude to the team.

At the end of the trek, many trekkers and climbers also like to donate equipment to the trekking staff and porters. Items such as boots, gloves, hats, and scarves are always warmly received by porters, while technical gear, including head torches and trekking poles, is highly valued by the Sherpa team. Your assigned tour leader will ensure that all items are distributed fairly and thoughtfully to the crew members.
