Thorong La pass crossing trekking package offers you the extreme adventure opportunity to cross the high pass of Nepal’s great Annapurna range, providing a combination of spectacular high mountain scenery, picturesque lowland farms and villages, a wealth of cultural interest and a challenging pass crossing.
The trek starts from Beshisahar, ascending the surprisingly wild and unspoiled Marsyangdi Valley to reach the north side of the Annapurna Massif. During the trek you will enjoy by regular contact with friendly villagers, as well as ever-changing panoramas of some of the world’s greatest peaks, including Manaslu and the Annapurnas.
You will trekking through the farmland of Nepal’s “middle hills” into the high alpine world on the north side of the Annapurnas which offers the taste of Tibetan Buddhism culture in Manang valley. Beyond the Tibetan Buddhist village of Manang, the high point of the trip is reached after a stamina-sapping ascent to the Thorong La (5416m.). Finally you will reach Jomsom crossing Thorong Pass and descend back to Pokhara following Kali Gandaki river bank or you will from to Pokhara from Jomsom airstrip.
