Eight Siblings set Guinness Record scaling Everest

Eight siblings from Rolwaling summited Mt Everest creating a world record with most siblings scaling the mountain, this spring season.

Climber Nima Lhamu Sherpa successfully stood atop Mt Everest with two of her siblings on May 12.

Along with legendary climbers Pemba Dorjee Sherpa and Nima Gyalzen Sherpa, her brother duo, Nima Lhamu scaled the world's highest peak this season, confirmed liaison officer of the team Sona Sherpa.

They have set the world record with most siblings scaling Everest, shared Sona Sherpa.

The eight siblings include Pemba Gyalzen Sherpa (climbed four times), Phurba Thundu Sherpa (two times), Pemba Dorje Sherpa (21 times), Nima Gyalzen Sherpa (nine times), Phurba Tenjing Sherpa (14 times), Phurba Thile Sherpa (five times), Dawa Diki Sherpa (one time) and Nima Lhamu Sherpa (one time).
